Alakylä School
Alakylä School in Southern Ostrobothnia is a primary school with approximately 300 pupils. Our key areas of focus are responsible schoolgoing, entrepreneurial education and application of information and communication technologies in education.
Our slogan is “Alakylä school is safe, caring, encouraging and entrepreneurial”.
In the autumn 2013, Alakylä School was the first Finnish school to receive the National Standard for Enterprise Education. In the OECD evaluation in June 2014, our school was among the top four schools with the best entrepreneurial education practices.
Alakylä School follows the Seinäjoki City curriculum for primary schools.
Co-operation between home and school: It is possible for interested guardians to participate in the activities of the parent committee. The parent committee aims to support education in co-operation with the school. In addition, the activities include various fundraising events.
