Our mission is to maintain and strengthen the local community’s understanding of their own culture, history and surroundings. Our collections showcase the cultural heritage of Southern Ostrobothnia, which we share with the public through a range of exhibitions, events and publications. We also work to preserve culturally important built environments and support the area’s local history museums.
