Mobile guides

Our mobile guides provide an easy and fun way to get to know Seinäjoki’s historical attractions at your convenience. The guides are browser-based and require no special downloads. Our mobile guides work on smartphones, tablets and laptops, and can be used both on the go and in the comfort of your own home.

The Seinäjoki in days gone by guide features two routes:

• Iron, rye and gunpowder is a tour of the old iron and gunpowder works on the grounds of Törnävä Manor.
• Putting Seinäjoki on the map follows the river from Törnävä to Itikanmäki showcasing Seinäjoki’s entrepreneurial history.

The Aalto Centre guide showcases Seinäjoki’s unique administrative and cultural centre, one of architect Alvar Aalto’s most important works. Separate routes are available for adults and children.
